Anna & Peter (Robbo) Robertson
Anna
Anna is originally from Manchester in the UK, but moved to NZ in 2000 to be with her then fiancée, Robbo. Anna and Robbo were married in 2005, with Anna becoming a Kiwi (citizenship) in 2010.
Anna has been managing and working in kennels for over 25 years, from the UK and Scotland all the way to NZ. Of note, Anna was with the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) as a civilian staff member for 11 years where she was involved in the breeding, whelping, rearing and training of police dogs. Anna has also spent 7 years working with the NZ police as a civilian at the NZ police dog training centre in Wellington.
Anna had her own breeding lines in the UK with German Shepherd’s Dog’s (GSD’s) prior to moving to NZ, and has also been a registered breeder of Pure Black GSD’s and West-highland White-Terriers (Westies) here in NZ.
Robbo
Robbo has previously spent about 23 years in the NZ Army, mostly as a mechanic in RNZEME, with postings through-out NZ and deployments overseas. Robbo has spent the last few years working in the Biosecurity field in Marlborough and now works full time with the Marlborough District Council as a Biosecurity Officer.
Padz and Pawz is the second kennels and cattery we have owned and operated. Our first was Kingsley Mews in Upper Hutt, Wellington. This was sold when we decided to move to Marlborough in 2007. Our Goal
Our goal is to “Treat your pets like our pets”. That’s why we started our first kennels and cattery. We couldn’t find a place we trusted to leave our pets, so we made one! We hope you and your pets enjoy the stay, and come back next time.
